– 1 cup broken wheat (dalia) – ½ cup lentils (masoor, moong, chana, toor) – 500g boneless chicken – 2 onions (sliced) – 2 tomatoes (chopped) – 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp turmeric powder – 1 tbsp red chili powder – 1 tbsp coriander powder – 1 tsp garam masala – 1 tsp cumin seeds – ½ cup yogurt – 4 cups water – 2 tbsp ghee/oil – Salt to taste – Fresh coriander, fried onions, lemon, and ginger for garnish

Soak broken wheat and lentils for 2 hours. Boil them with salt and turmeric until soft. Blend into a thick paste.

Cook Chicken:

Heat oil, add cumin seeds, sliced onions, and sauté until golden. Add ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, spices, and chicken. Cook until tender. Shred the chicken.

Combine:

Mix the chicken with the lentil-wheat paste. Add water to adjust consistency and cook on low flame for 30-40 minutes.
